I saw a friend of mine wearing the coolest polo shirt ever!!! You know what’s written on it??

I thought that’s hillarious =D

She told me that she got it from a shop called “Truth or Dare” in Beit el Mazar – located behind Starbucks el kaneesa!!

She also gave me the blog of this shop:   Q8TruthOrDare.wordpress.com ( I loved it & added it to my blogroll). They also have a facebook group!!

Yesterday I got the chance to pass by Truth or Dare & got myself a polo shirt that says (I love Gahwa) =) and got a fancy Ramadan dress ( as I don’t wear darra3a, I found their designs a fusion of darra3as & cute dresses =P

I really loved the decoration of the place & also got my brother an Abercrombie & Fitch polo shirt & a pair of cargo shorts!! He digs A&F, and was surprised to know that there’s someone who sells this brand in Kuwait!!

This shop rocks!!!

Hello people =)

Finally, I’m back from my vacation. I really needed this getaway =P

Whenever I’m in London, I’d like to walk through Nottingn Hill streets (Remember the movie?) making sure to swing by Portobello Market – the world’s largest antique market.

I came to find this cute little bakery called “The Hummingbird Bakery”. To tell you the truth, I’m not a sweet tooth (I’m more into real meals!!). However, I couldn’t resist their creamy chocolate cupcakes with its crunchy chocolate frosting =P

My cousins ordered this amazingly goodlooking slice of a cake called “Red Velvet”. It is a deep red vanilla cake with a light taste of chocolate, iced with cream cheese frosting!!

I also loved the look of the “Bling Bling” cupcakes – so chic!!

Oh God!! I think I’m flying back to London tonight =P

When you were a kid, you have definitely dreamed of living in these yummy houses…

But… a guy in South of Jahra made his childhood dreams come true…

Going to work in an August morning,, the temperature reading shows that it’s 40 degrees outside,, you start the engine of your car..can’t wait to turn on the A/C.. when you do.. you get the feeling of a professional blowdryer blowing some humid air (even if your car is a japanese one, they all start the same way in our lovely Kuwait!)

You jump into the road & here they come… people who God sends to the streets to test you patience:

* A man driving a 1960 Chevy with the window opened & his arm hanging out (as if he’s on a carefree road trip…AARRGGHH)…driving on the left lane with a speed of a bicycle, not caring to check the rear view mirror (if still there) for the poor people rushing to work!! ARE YOU SERIOUS??

* A foreign driver (usually Bangali) sticking his chest to the steering wheel of a station wagon packed with a million kids (& sometimes their Sri Lanki nannny wearing white 7jaab mothallath, looking right & left checking for I don’t know what!!) who croosed his heart & hoped to die in front of his madam to not exceed 60 KM/hour for the sake of the ”bacha” safety!! Still on the left lane of the road…la7’6aw!!

* A guy with the ugliest pair of sunglasses talking on his mobile with a yellow-teethed grin (you don’t even wana know how bad his breath smells…eeeewwwwww) resting his elbow on the door & his head on the window.. driving in a zigzag!!! Khallloooooohhh…he’s having the time of his life with the poor girl on the other end of the phone call.. w akeed… he doesn’t give a $h** if he’s blocking your way!!

* A truck moving as slow as a turtle,  loaded with workers sitting in the open deck of the vehicle, ALL of them staring at you… whoever you are.. not a blink..never!! & sometimes one of them is concentrating too hard he needed to pick his nose & scratch his brain!!!!!!!!! LAAAIIIISSSHHH YAAAAA RABBBIIII…LAISH?????

* & last but not least, the one that I call “AL3AN MAKHLOOQ BIL SHARI3″ – el marah el na7eesah!!! Hathy 3aad…hay haaayyyy..ya wailik itha fakkart to give her a signal to move aside…YA WAILIK!! Amalik twakhir..AMALIK! wallah min el 7arrah galabt Kuwaity!! Bil 3ax, if she sees you this desperate, her sole mission is to make you surrender to her rules & stick to her “behind”!! THEY NEVER MOVE THOSE MO%$#@ F&#%$@!!!!!

That’s just to name a few…

y3ny, you don’t reach work until you are completely frenzied…ready to blow up in the face of your smelly colleague – the guy you wish – everyday - you could hang out of the 10th floor window sooner than later!!!
